On March 20, Professor In Sohngii Kim, Director of the Visual Communication Design Department at Ewha Womans University, paid another visit to our university. This was his second visit since July last year. President Wu Guoquan met with Professor Kim. Vice Presidents Yang Qingqing and He Ling, along with representatives from relevant departments, faculty, and students, attended the opening ceremony of the “Boundless · Symbiosis” China-Korea Faculty and Student Design Exhibition.

She stated that the exhibition, which brings together outstanding works by faculty and students from both institutions, reflects a strong resonance in their approaches to art and design education. Following the ceremony, Professor In Sohngii Kim engaged in exchanges with faculty and students regarding creative concepts and design education. A symposium was also held, during which both sides discussed topics such as design education in the era of artificial intelligence and the cultivation of design talent. Vice President Yang Qingqing proposed expanding cooperation in areas including faculty and student exchanges and joint research initiatives. President Wu Guoquan presented Professor In Sohngii Kim with a certificate of appointment as a visiting professor, marking a transition in the bilateral partnership from short-term exchanges to the establishment of a long-term cooperation mechanism.
